We are committed to protecting the heritage of this special historic place and request that you respect the following rules for everyone’s safety and enjoyment:

Inn Rules

Please do not smoke anywhere on the premises (including our lovely grounds–with all of our fir trees there is too much of a fire risk!)  Please do not bring candles  or matches for your room as we would ask you to remove them.

Keep your pets at home. Katie and Kylie, our adorable golden retrievers, will be happy to receive your attention if you are missing your own fur-buddy.  However, they are not allowed in any of the guest rooms and are kept in our private quarters unless guests agree to see them.  They are controlled by an invisible fence boundary when outside or are on their leashes.

This is primarily an adult get-away but it is the perfect setting for family gatherings.  With advance notice, we can help you make this a very memorable and fun event for the whole family!

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in time is between 4pm and 8pm unless previously arranged.  Please let us know if your plans make it difficult to keep within this timeframe.  There is no check-in prior to 1pm.  Check-ins after 8pm are subject to a $25 late check-in fee.   We ask that you check-out by 11am so that we can prepare for our incoming guests.

Deposits

If you are booking the entire Inn for an event, we will collect the first night’s rent as a deposit.  A minimum of two nights is required for rental of the house.

For all other bookings we will record your credit card to confirm the reservation, but not charge you until your arrival. Confirmations are sent by email-please check your spam if you do not receive a confirmation.

Our season opens on the first weekend in March to celebrate the Uniontown Sausage Feed and we remain open until the end of the year (how about a grand New Year’s Party?)  If you are thinking of staying for a football weekend or a college event, plan ahead as our rooms are often booked a year in advance for such happenings!

January and February we are closed for maintenance and renewal of the Inn.

Cancellations

Cancellations are handled on an individual basis—we understand that some life events are beyond our control.  However, we ask that you provide at least one week’s notice unless it is truly an unexpected emergency.  Cancellations with less than one week notice will be subject to a 50% first-night rate cancellation fee.

If you are a “no-show” that truly hurts our small business and our plans for breakfast, so you will be charged for 50% of your reserved stay.

Other

Two-night minimum (Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun) required for:

  • Whole Inn rental
  • Event Weekends (all college football games, graduations, Moms/Dads Days, Holidays)
